Aleksei was living in Russia when Putin decided to invade Ukraine, his native country. In 1999, he graduated from the Acting Department of RATI-GITIS, in the class of Mark Zakharov. He has taken part in festivals such as New Drama and New Play.<\/p>\n

Pines<\/em> (a play by Mikhail Ugarov, directed by Sasha Denisova, Theatre of Nations), Hermione<\/em> (directed by Sasha Denisova), and Six Ribs of Anger<\/em> (Kommuna Warszawa, 2022, Poland).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n After leaving Russia, thanks to Artists at Risk (AR), he was able to complete a three-month residency in Helsinki. It is a work about the lives of civilians living day to day in the midst of conflict.
