CHAH \/ BADAN<\/strong> (The Well \/ The Body), is a play written by playwright Mahsa Mohebali<\/strong> and directed by Hossein Zoghi<\/strong>, Iranian artists and political activists exiled in Catalonia as part of our residency program.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Translated into Catalan by Albert Mestres<\/strong> and performed by Mireia Illamola<\/strong>, the play explores the intersection between memory, repression and the female body as a territory of resistance.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

After the performance, we will hold a discussion with the participation of Mahsa Mohebali, Hossein Zoghi and Ryma Sheermohammadi<\/strong>, translator and political activist, in which we will discuss the situation of women in Iran.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
