Cinestèsies, cinema and thought
Cinestèsies is a thematic cycle that unites cinema and thought to offer tools for reflection and promote a critical look at the issues that permeate society. Through different disciplines and formats, the project seeks to rethink reality and generate spaces for shared dialogue.
Art and transformation
Art is a living energy, capable of transforming what seems fixed forever. It is a powerful tool that reveals what remains hidden, that makes visible realities that are often silenced and that questions the structures we take for granted. Art moves, shakes, awakens; and opens spaces for new perspectives on the world and on ourselves.
In contexts of oppression, imposed silences or censorship, art becomes an act of resistance. It is a voice when there is none, it is a space of freedom when everything seems closed. It transgresses, breaks boundaries and challenges norms to delve into what is uncomfortable, what burns, what forces us to look again.
Thus, this quarter’s Cinestésies approaches art as a transformative force, as a space of courage and creative fire. A place where culture illuminates, denounces and inspires; a living drive that continues to push us towards more critical, more sensitive and freer futures.
