CHAH / BADAN (The Well / The Body), is a play written by playwright Mahsa Mohebali and directed by Hossein Zoghi, Iranian artists and political activists exiled in Catalonia as part of our residency program.
Translated into Catalan by Albert Mestres and performed by Mireia Illamola, the play explores the intersection between memory, repression and the female body as a territory of resistance.
After the performance, we will hold a discussion with the participation of Mahsa Mohebali, Hossein Zoghi and Ryma Sheermohammadi, translator and political activist, in which we will discuss the situation of women in Iran.
