Under the slogan “Activate for Peace and Rights”, the City Council of Santa Coloma de Gramanet has programmed this play written by the writer Mahsa Mohebali and directed by Hossein Zoghi, Iranian artists and political activists exiled in Catalonia and performed by Mireia Illamola. The work explores the intersection of memory, repression, and the female body as a site of resistance.
This activity is part of the Days for Peace and Cooperation, organized by the Department of Cooperation and Solidarity of the Santa Coloma de Gramenet City Council.
After the performance, we will hold a discussion in which we will talk about the situation of women and artistic creation in Iran.
